Hedging

Hedging strategies involve risk, including market, counterparty and liquidity risk. A hedge can reduce one exposure and create another. Past or estimated results do not guarantee future results. Vanttax acts in an advisory capacity: it does not manage or execute transactions for the client and has no access to client accounts. Hedges are executed by the client’s own treasury team, with its own financial institution.

Structures

International structures depend on the laws of each jurisdiction involved, which change, and on facts about the client that only the client and its licensed advisors can confirm. A structure that is suitable on one set of facts may be unsuitable on another. Reporting and other legal obligations remain with the client, together with the client’s advisors.

Financing

An introduction to a funding partner is not an approval, a commitment of funds, or a recommendation of a particular facility. Pricing, covenants and availability are decided by the funding party.

Residence and citizenship

Residency and citizenship by investment programmes are administered by public authorities. Vanttax does not decide applications. Eligibility, the scope of any status, and the time an authority takes are outside Vanttax’s control and are not promised on this website.

Tax

Vanttax is not a tax advisor. Tax consequences of a company, a structure, a hedge or a change of residence must be considered with an independent tax advisor in the client’s jurisdiction.
